Sure it’s common to see a little dog wearing a fashionable sweater but let’s not overlook costumes when it comes to dog clothes. Dressing your playful pooch up in a clever costume can be a lot of fun. Not to mention, the attention that you and your dog will get will be almost to much to handle. Imagine prancing down the street with your dog wearing the cutest little dog clothes and dog collars. He won’t exactly be the envy of every dog but you’ll be the envy of every dog owner. Dog clothes can make your dog really stand out in a crowd. People often don’t give a second look to someone who is walking their dog. They see that all the time but put some cute dog clothes on your dog and heads will turn.

When it comes to dog clothes and doggy costumes, the sky is really the limit! Dogs can often pull off wearing costumes that would be a total flop if a person tried to wear it. Dogs can get away with wearing the most silly dog clothing and people just thing it’s adorable.

There are web sites all over the Internet dedicated to dog clothes and costumes for your puppy. Some sell dog clothes and costumes and some have great ideas. There’s certainly no shortage of sources to buy adorable dog clothes. You’ll have more fun shopping for dog clothing than your dog will have wearing it. I guarantee you that. Dogs just don’t seem to have the since of style like people do. I wonder why that is. People notice other people clothing and hair. I wonder if a what a dog thinks when it sees another dog wearing dog clothes? It’s probably pretty confusing to them.

Be creative when picking out the perfect dog clothes! Don’t be afraid to mix and match items from different outfits either. While some people buy expensive dog clothes for their dogs, a large number people make their own. Some are at home behind a sewing machine and some are clever shoppers. Doll clothes often be modified to fit your pet without much work. Don’t be afraid to experiment a little with dog clothes for your dog. My daughter has recently developed a love of sewing because she figured out that she can make her own doll clothes. That led to her making all kinds of cute outfits for her stuffed animals, and now she’s into making cute little outfits for our chihuahua. He doesn’t seem impressed by her handiwork but he wears them none the less. I have to admit, it’s pretty cute seeing what kind of clever dog clothes she comes up with.

You can find cute dog costumes at specialty pet stores. You can also find them in feed stores believe it or not. We have a local feed store that sells all kind of horse and farm supplies and they have a pretty decent selection of dog clothes to choose from.

Another good source for dog clothes is thrift stores. Believe it or not, you can modify a lot of baby clothing to fit dogs quite easily. Again I have to tell you about something my daughter did. The other day, the hospital I work at received a big shipment of onesies for newborn babies. The only problem was that all of the sleeves were two feet long. They were hilarious looking. Of course we couldn’t dress the newborns in them so I got to bring some of them home for my daughter to play with. She saw them and after she stopped laughing, she instantly thought of a use for them. She grabbed a pair of scissors and started cutting away at them. The next thing I knew, she had a hole cut for a tail and shortly after that, she had one of our dogs wearing it. I have to admit that I never thought she would make dog clothes out of those silly things.

We have a little old neighbor lady who knits and last winter, she saw our little chihuahua shivering. The very next day, she knocked on our door and handed me the cutest little dog sweater for him to wear. Surprisingly enough, he really seemed to like it.

You can find all sorts of ideas for dog costumes if you look around your local craft and fabric store. Ours even has sells patterns so that you can make your own dog clothes if you know how to sew. Last year, my daughter got a bunch of yarn and made a lions mane for our 150 pound English Mastiff to wear for Halloween. She’s quite creative and comes up will all kinds of ideas. You can too if you put your mind to it.

So the moral of the story is, use your imagination and go crazy having fun dressing your dog in cute dog clothes. You’re only limited by your imagination!

Halloween has become one of the most popular days for many dog lovers. A lot of pet owners really enjoy dressing up their pooches in adorable costumes and showing them off in parades or entering them in Halloween costume contests. While not all pups are willing to dress up in a Halloween costume, most dogs are more than happy to receive a tasty Halloween dog treat. The Kool dog Kafe is one of my favorite dog bakeries because they have some of the cutest seasonal dog treats; especially for Halloween. The dog bakery has an extensive collection of Halloween dog treats ranging in flavor and sizes. My dog just loves their peanut butter Halloween dog bones.

The Kool dog Kafe has been making homemade dog treats since 1999 and their products are exceptional. The dog bakery makes all of their treats by hand, and their Halloween dog treats are truly something to “howl” about. You can choose from dog treats in the shapes of ghosts, pumpkins, candy corns and pumpkins too. The treats are available in a variety of tasty flavors like peanut butter and chicken. The bakery uses their recipe for peanut butter dog teats to make their Halloween dog bones. The treats are then decorated with yogurt using Halloween colors and designs. These dog bones are the perfect seasonal treat for your pooch!

All of the dog treats at the Kool dog Kafe are not only homemade, they are all natural dog treats too. The bakery uses only the finest human grade all natural ingredients to make their treats. All of the dog treats made at the bakery are free of any harmful preservatives or by-products that could be harmful to your dog. All of the treats are also made to order, so you will always receive the freshest, highest quality treats from the bakery.

Over the course of the last decade the words “organic” and “all natural” have taken the pet industry by storm. Many concerned pet owners are turning to organic and all natural pet products as a healthy alternative for their pets. Organic pet foods and organic pet treats are made with “all natural” ingredients. However, pet foods and pet treats that are labeled “all natural” are not necessarily “organic.” For an ingredient to be considered organic it has to be made in a way that limits the use of synthetic materials during production.

Many people wonder if organic pet products are really that much better for their pets. Because organic food production is a heavily regulated industry, a lot of pet owners think that it is. Organic pet products are usually a bit more expensive, but people are willing to spend a little extra on their pets because they feel that they are helping their pets live longer, happier, healthier lives.

My dog loves the organic dog biscuits from Dr’s. Foster & Smith. These healthy homemade dog treats are a delicious snack made with certified organic ingredients. The dog biscuits are crunchy and they support healthy oral hygiene. The dog biscuits are made with the finest all-natural ingredients, including liver, poultry, and peanuts. All of the ingredients are USA-grown or raised according to current USDA organic standards. There is absolutely no added sugar, salt, or artificial colors or flavors. These all natural dog treats also are “corn-free” so they are great for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

Because these all natural dog treats are also organic, the ingredients in the dog biscuits were grown and/or raised with NO synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or hormones. The treats come in three tasty flavors: chicken, beef/liver and peanut butter. These organic dog treats make excellent treats fro rewarding good behavior. You can use them for training purposes or just to let your pooch know how much you love them!

Thanks for stopping by my website on dog clothes.
